With 60% magnetite content, compared to 55% in Smart Magnetic Paint, this is our strongest magnetic paint product. (For heavier weights, choose Smart Magnetic Plaster that contains 75% magnetite and it’s the best magnetic product available)

Magnetic Products offer three variations: Magnetic Paint (55% magnetite), Super Magnetic Paint (60% magnetite) and Magnetic Plaster (75% magnetite). These paints are black due to the presence of magnetic particles. You can cover the black surface with standard paint to achieve your preferred colour. It's recommended to first apply a white water-based primer, such as White Primer before adding your colour.Alternatively, you can place a thin wallpaper or digital print design over Super Magnetic Paint. Thicker layers may diminish the magnetic properties.

Yes, all the coats required are supplied within the tin. For Super Magnetic Paint you will require 4 coats of paint.

Yes, but due to the black colour of magnetic paint, you may need to apply more than one coat of the colour of your choice. We recommend using a primer for a smooth white base for lighter shades of topcoat paint.

Smart Neo-Magnets or rare earth magnets should be used as these are the strongest available.

It is easy to create a magnetic photo wall using our magnetic paints and wallcoverings. We recommend you use neodymium magnets. You can create a photo wall by choosing from our magnetic paints, Wallcoverings or plaster. For the strongest hold, we recommend our magnetic plaster. Simple apply the wall covering of your choice on the surface you have chosen following the application steps and pin up your photographs.

Super Magnetic Paint can be applied by roller or spray onto any smooth surface. Use a short pile (foam) roller to ensure a smooth finish. Once dry, the surface can be painted over to conceal the black colour (due to the magnetic properties in the paint).
