FAQ's
The gain value indicates the quantity of reflective lumens that the screen can offer. A higher gain value signifies that more light is reflected, leading to a brighter image on the screen. Conversely, a lower gain value results in less light being reflected, which produces a dimmer image.
The gain value of a screen also affects the breadth of the viewing angle. A screen with a higher gain will have a narrower viewing angle, meaning viewers need to be positioned more directly in front of the screen to enjoy the peak brightness. In contrast, a screen with a lower gain will have a wider viewing angle, enabling viewers to see a brighter image even if they are not directly facing the screen.
It's crucial to understand that the choice of gain is determined by the specific viewing environment and the intended viewing experience. Aspects such as ambient lighting, screen dimensions, projector brightness, and audience seating arrangement significantly influence the ideal gain for a particular scenario.
Ensure all surfaces to be painted are clean, dry, and free from loose debris. For new concrete floors, acid washing is recommended before applying the Floor Projector Screen Paint.
Stir well before use. For optimal results, apply the paint with a mohair or lint-free short-pile roller sleeve. Allow 24 hours of drying time before moving equipment such as forklifts or pallet trucks over it.
This paint adheres to the highest environmental guidelines and has received independent certification for its VOC levels. When applying Floor Projector Screen Paint, it is advisable to use the gloves included in the kit. As with any painting product, we recommend wearing gloves during the application process.
