Smarter Surfaces Dry Erase Wallpapers are designed to be applied to smooth surfaces. They can also be applied to curved walls. Ensure all debris and previous wallpapers have been removed. Absorbent surfaces should be treated with a primer before application.

Only porous surfaces need to be primed before application. If the surface is uneven, you may also choose to use the primer to create a smoother finish.

Whiteboard Wall Covering can be wiped clean with a regular dry or slightly damp cloth. For easier cleaning, you can also use any standard Whiteboard Cleaning Spray. For tough or stubborn marks, we recommend customers use Permanent Ink Remover.

During the first 30 days from application, we recommend cleaning your surface every day using the supplied Micorfibre Cloth. After 30 days it is recommended to thoroughly clean the surface weekly with a standard whiteboard cleaner.

Frequent use of alcohol on marker board wall covering could compromise the surface's quality and diminish its effectiveness.

No, like any standard whiteboard, Whiteboard Wallpaper does not work with permanent markers.If permanent markers are applied, clean the surface using Smarter Surfaces Permanent Ink Remover to remove stubborn stains.

You might be able to erase a permanent marker by writing over it with a whiteboard marker.

This will rehydrate the ink, making it simpler to wipe off. After waiting two minutes, clean it away. If this method doesn't succeed, consider using our Permanent Ink Remover, available in online store.

The Dry Erase Wall Covering can be applied using a ready mixed heavy duty wallpaper adhesive. Simply apply the adhesive to the wall using a roller and then apply the whiteboard wallpaper.

At the joint, overlap the dry erase vinyl and double cut right through with a sharp blade. This will minimize the appearance of seams on your whiteboard surface.

Whiteboard Wall Covering can be hung horizontally or vertically, depending on your preference. We recommend hanging the writing wallpaper horizontally to minimize seams on writing areas.

How to Apply Whiteboard Wallpaper?

Whiteboard Wallpaper is easy to apply and creates a smooth, seamless writable surface. Professional installation is recommended for optimal results.

Step 1 - Preparation The Wall - Cover the floor with protective material. Fill any holes or cracks, remove old wallpaper, and sand rough areas smooth. Clean the wall thoroughly and apply white primer if the surface is absorbent.
Step 2 - Measure and Apply Adhesive - Measure and cut the wallpaper to size on the protected floor. Mix the heavy-duty adhesive with 10% water and apply two even coats to the wall with a roller.
Step 3 - Hang The Wallpaper - Roll up the cut wallpaper with the paper side out and press against the wall. Use spatula to smooth out all air bubbles and excess adhesive.
Step 4 - Final Drying - After applying the wallpaper, let it dry for 24 hours before use.
